The Communion Of The Holy Spirit Saturday, May 11th

Pastor Chris
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen (2 Corinthians 13:14).

This verse lets us know what we can enjoy from God (the love of God), what we can enjoy from Jesus (the grace of Jesus Christ), and what we can enjoy from the Holy Spirit (the communion of the Holy Spirit). God the Father already proved His love in sending Jesus Christ to die that we may live. The grace of Jesus Christ, on the other hand, has been poured out on us through His death for us. We now enjoy that grace in its fullness (John 1:16-17); there couldnt be anything better than what He (His grace) already accomplished for us on the cross of Calvary. However, theres something that continues: "the communion of the Holy Spirit." This refers to the partnership, communication, or fellowship with the Holy Spirit. It includes talking with the Holy Spirit; yielding to His Lordship and guidance; sharing our thoughts with Him, and receiving His thoughts through the Word. The kind of relationship were to cultivate with the Holy Spirit is one of communion; a sharing together. The Father and the Son are in heaven, but the Holy Spirit lives in us, fostering this extraordinary communion with divinity. Hes the one that makes the presence of the Father and the presence of Jesus real to you such that wherever you are, you experience the divine presence. God doesnt "go" from you, or "come" to you; youre in Him, and Hes in you, by the Holy Spirit.

The Communion Of The Holy Spirit Saturday, May 11th

Develop an intimate relationship with Him by communing with Him constantly in prayer, and through meditation on the Word. Consult with Him for answers and direction always. When you face challenges that seem insurmountable, commune with Him, and Hell show you what to do. No one but He can give you prefect counsel and guidance in life. Confession I know that Ill never walk in darkness, confusion or uncertainty because Im in fellowship with the Holy Spirit; Hes my light, and the One who teaches me in the way that I should go, guiding me in the path of Gods perfect will! Amen.
