Narrative Writing Sample 2 This piece of writing shows what I could do at the midpoint of our narrative writing

Your task is to write a story that impacts one of the four characters on the next page. You must imagine that some sort of natural disaster e.g. a storm, a flood, an earthquake etc. occurs in the town that they live in. Your story will begin before the natural disaster strikes and explain how the event affects and changes the character you are writing about. Remember that a narrative contains an introduction, a build up, a problem, a resolution and an ending. You will spend the first lesson planning your story. It is expected that you will also spend time planning how you will develop your main character and the setting in which your story takes place. You will then be provided with two lessons to write your narrative story.
