Language Arts J In writing, students are continuing to use the writing process to complete their personal narratives based on the great photographs they brought in from home. Students have been drafting re-reading, revising, and editing. J In reading, students have finished a unit on visualizing and are beginning to look at non-fiction texts, starting with biographies. 10 Tate

Math Students have been exploring and applying the associative, commutative, and distributive properties of multiplication. Students are able to solve multiplication facts by using arrays, drawing equal groups, and explaining their thinking in words using appropriate math vocabulary. Students have been relating division to multiplication. They are practicing solving story problems in their math journals.
