Chickasaw hunted and grew crops. They ate and grew corn, beans, and squash. They hunted deer and fish.

They were located in Mississippi, Alabama,

Tennessee, Kentucky, and Missouri.


Chickasaws were forced to move to Oklahoma in the 1800s. Some Chickasaws escaped or pretended they were white.

Fairly democratic government. Called their chief Minko. The second chief in command was the war chief.
