Thousands of children where in jeopardy by the crippling disease, Polio. This had become a big concern as it caused a loss of thousand innocent lives. It had to be brought to an end, hence couple of origination joined hands to fight against this global epidemic.

Rotary International
(also known as the Rotary Club) is an international service organization whose stated purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. It is a secular organization open to all persons regardless of race, colour, creed, religion, gender, or political preference.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

is the national public health institute of the United States. The CDC focuses national attention on developing and applying disease control and prevention.

The World Health Organization (WHO)

is a specialized agency of the United Nations (UN) that is concerned with international public health.

Further there new improvement and growth is being experienced by these organization. The Rotary Club was successful to raise 1.2 billion dollars to battle polio. The four original founders are lately joined by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the United Nations Foundation, and other private philanthropies which lead to a significant amount of funds being raised for the cause.

The reason of achievement

As mentioned before, four different organization from different regions and completely different background and with dissimilar ways of functioning; merged together targeting the accomplishment a project. Usually many problems arise in such managerial situations and merges, but according to the writer; the potency of the merge depends on the strength and dedication of every individual focused towards the core aim the project that it relies on.
