WOOD 2 FINAL
South Western High School

T.P. Problem?
Throughout the ages human kind has done it. In the Middle Ages we didnt have it (thats why we shake with our right hand) and in the frontier west, they used corncobs. The Sears and Roebuck Catalog switched to glossy paper because of it. And finally the Scotts Company makes millions of dollars making it. Toilet Paper is used everyday by all of us around the world. For your Wood 2 final I want you, to make it better. Objective: I want each of you to make a T.P. Holder/Dispenser out of wood. The design will be researched, drawn, and a prototype created by you (Both floor or wall mounting is acceptable). You may make it elaborate or simple, as rough or as elegant as you would like. You may not use bought materials for this project (Excluding: Glues, Dowels, and other approved hardware) Grading: Each of your projects will be voted on by the teaching staff, for best looking, and overall appearance. There will also be a 5 min. selling Speech of why your T.P. dispenser is the best, and a one page typed paper of the thought process behind the design, and the steps you took in the construction. Finally, I will grade your project on construction quality and the use of proper wood working techniques.
