01 ARCHITECTURE
Seeking to better understand the primary concepts of form, space and order without compromising aesthetic appeal or function by using independent, internship, graduate and summer coursework.

02 URBAN PLANNING
Undergraduate studies in the field of Urban and Regional Planning meant to contemplate the technical and political process concerned with the control of land and the design of our built environment from transportation to policy management.

03 FABRICATION
Model construction and design through several mediums attempting to join design with the production process through the use of 3D modeling software and additive / subtractive machines.

THESIS
Kariakoo (city center) Redevelopment, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania:

The goal of the new development will be to enhance the character of the district by recreating the former jazz community that once established the area as a place for social gatherings and a vibrant nightlife.

The project will result in open space that is usable and visible to the public which in turn creates visual relief for nearby pedestrians. The resulting market area, combined with the open area from the closed street creates an environment that allows expansive walkways with extensive landscaping.
