Remote Manipulator System(RMS) It is more like a robotic arm that recreates various movements of the human arm including up-and-down, side-to-side and 360degree circular motion

Mars Pathfinder Rover

 Robotic underwater rovers are used explore and gather information about many facets of our marine environment. Underwater exploration is Project Jeremy, a collaboration between NASA and Santa Clara University. The Jeremy Project was in part funded by the SCREEM(Santa Clara Remote Extreme Environment Mechanisms Lab) lab at Santa Clara University.
