MERGE RIS: Locations

1. On the Admin Side of RIS, click on Locations, in the Support Tables section. a. Here you will be able to add, edit, and delete Locations. 2. To add a Location select the Add button at the bottom of the page. a. Any field marked with a red asterisk is required. When you have completed the page select Complete at the bottom of the page. b. The Location Code is an identifier for your Location, i.e. MRG for Merge. 3. To search for a Location enter all or part of the name of Location you are looking for in the Location Name field, and then select Search. a. You may also narrow the search by Location Group, Location Code, or Phone number. b. If you would like to see all the Locations select Search before entering any information. c. If searching by phone number be certain to enter the number exactly as it was set up. d. If any dashes or parenthesis are missing your search will return nothing. 4. You may edit a Location by clicking on the desired Location then selecting the Edit button at the bottom of the page. a. Once you have finished editing select Complete at the bottom of the page. 5. To delete a Location click on the desired Location then select Delete at the bottom of the page. a. The Location will NOT be marked as inactive; it will be permanently removed from the system. 6. You may inactivate/reactivate a Location by clicking on the desired Location then selecting Edit at the bottom of the page. a. In the new window use the Status field in the upper right corner to select Active or Inactive. b. When finished select Complete at the bottom of the page.
