SPECIFICATIONS
CONSTRAINS
My cotton is 100% cotton; no stretched Fabric was allowed to be used. I also traced the
correct size for my PJ pants and it was the size: XS.I also measured the width between the
grain line and the edge of the pants. Our teacher set the due date for the PJ pants and design
brief to be due on 20 May 2009.
CONSIDERATION
My pattern of my fabric was duck because when I was walking in Spotlight I find the Ducks very
cute so I bought them. My colour of the fabric was pink, I couldn’t find any other colour except
for pink, but if there was blue I rather get blue.
My PJ pants were made for winter so I can quickly wear it so I don’t have to wait for summer to
come.
I spent only the money to buy my fabric who was $5.00 a metre and I also spent money to buy
pink thread to match the fabric. The birch thread was 1000 metres at $1.70 each.
My pants were Long because I decided to wear it for winter so it would be warm.
WHAT I HAVE LEARNT
What I learnt during making my PJ pants I have learnt how to sew the zigzag stitch on the side
and I also learnt that when making PJ pants the pants is one bigger than the other. Also that
one bit has to be bigger than the other.
