    ELECTRIC ARC FURNACE(EAF) Is the furnace that heats charged material by means of ELECTRIC ARC . Arc furnace ranges from small units of capacity one ton capacity to about 400 ton units. The electric arc furnace operates as a batch melting process producing batches of molten steel known as HEAT.
