It was great talking to you on the phone this week about your child. If I
didn’t get in touch with you, I will try again or you can call me at school.
We are really starting to get into the groove of school. We started up
our Science unit so make sure to ask your child about our new pets.
Also, I am still testing students reading levels and hope to be finished by the end
of the week. You will get a letter from me, letting you know the results.

Mon. Sept. 21 – Open House
Wed. Sept. 30 – Gattiland Field Trip

• Please don’t forget that homework is due the following day.

Starting on week 6 students who forget to bring their
homework, folders, or get the blue folder signed will have to
move a color. It’s part of their responsibility we are working on.
• Finally, there is some graded work in the folder! Please read over the
grading process. It has changed since last year.
• Thank you to all those that ordered books either online or by sending them
in. The books should arrive in 7 days.

Don’t forget turn in your PTA membership envelopes! It would be

great to have 100% participation from our class. The cost is $4.00
a family member.
