    Activities through which new vocabulary can be introduced:

    1.making a list of new words,that is usually called wordwise, and all the words have a small definition 2.presenting words in context, that is students read a text and then they have to match new words with their definitions,based on the previous reading exercise 3.translation is very useful where possible (when all students have the same mother tongue);when translating into Romanian we can take into consideration students own experience as language learners and ask them to translate the words.

    Ways through which previously met vocabulary can be established:

    1.students can read a small text and circle the correct words 2.a funny exercise is odd ones out; we can make small lists of words using new vocabulary 3.another exercise to establish new vocabulary is filling in using the new words 4.we can choose some of the new words and ask students to make a list of expressions containing those words;they can use the dictionary. 5.word formation is another type of exercise that is of great help in establishing new vocabulary.
