I want to find out the effect of changing the weight of the object and the slope on speed. Prediction: I think the more mass add to the object, the faster it travels. And the bigger the slope is, the faster it travels. Material: Vernier Motion Detector, Vernier Dynamics ramp (Ramp is ok), Vernier Cart (497.25g), retort stand and clamp, weight (535.98g), laptop Calculation: (7cm-2.2cm)/122cm=0.39 535.98g+497.25g=1033.23g (22cm-2.2cm)/120cm=0.165 Process: I fix the ramp at the slope of 0.39; put the cart on the beginning of the ramp. It slides towards the end of the ramp. Then I use the detector to record the distance between the cart and the beginning. I fix the weight on the cart, dont change the slope. And make it slide again on the ramp. Record. I take off the weight. Fix the ramp at the slope of 0.165. Slide the cart, record. Graph:

Conclusion: Comparing graph and graph, I found the cart with weight on it arrive the end about 0.2 seconds faster than the one without weight. The difference is not so obvious, but it still proved, the heavier the object is, it travels faster on the same ramp. Comparing graph and graph, the difference is more obvious. The same cart travels faster on the ramp with bigger slope.
