the national security roblem is one the affects us all! "rom the #ery to to the #ery bottom of our society, $e are all connected to the safety of our country! Many thin%s ha#e been tried in the ast from sanctions a%ainst o onents to actually enterin% into $ar $ith them! &e can all a%ree that the 'nited (tates has enemies! )ecause of our im erial con*uests throu%hout the $orld to sto the s read communism, $e ha#e ste ed on many toes! All of this useless fi%htin% is sim ly endan%erin% our nation! Many say this it is because $e are defendin% our freedoms a%ainst so+called ,tyrannies!- This is ob#iously absurd and com letely hy ocritical since $e are robably the most tyrannical %o#ernment at resent! Ho$e#er, . ha#e a lan! My lan is based off of t$o main ideas/ the $idely used theory that our freedoms are but a small rice to ay in order to ac*uire eace $ith our enemies and a easement! )en0amin "ran1lin once said that those $illin% to %i#e u freedoms for some amount of eace deser#e neither! This is utterly dim+$itted for the e2 ress reason that eace is the main ob0ecti#e! &e must see1 after it at all costs, and our freedoms are not im ortant any$ays, so $ho cares if they are lost to eternity! 3o$ on the matter of a easement, . ha#e only to say that it is our most useful tool in our tool set! .t is a%reeably the most useful tool in#ented! .n a $orld $here our most 4ussia, our most formidable enemy, has nearly ei%hteen+hundred nuclear $arheads, a easement is 1ey! 5et me e2 lain! Also, in today;s $orld $here e#erythin% is made of metal, our $ea ons shi s and armored #ehicles could be made into scra metal and used for eaceful endea#ors! &ith a ro2imately t$o+hundred and ei%hty+fi#e shi s in our fleet, that is a lot of metal! A lot of money can be made by sellin% this metal to our
