Benjamin Schweikart. For many years my husband and I have had the pleasure of knowing and spending time with the Schweikart family. Beginning with a friendship between two high school boys, the friendship now encompasses a bond between two families of four. For the past several years our two families have created our own unique traditions and have made lasting memories together. Many of these memories include Ben and his unselfish patience with my children who are several years his junior. From ice fishing to sledding, swimming, playing baseball or even board games, Ben has always been generous with his time and involvement. He is responsible and understanding beyond his years. Ben is independent and possesses the seemingly elusive traits of common sense and good judgment. He is intelligent and hardworking as evidenced by his exemplary grades and he also demonstrates a high level of integrity. Above all and most importantly, I would describe Ben as kind and caring.
