Everybodys got the runny nose blues Everybody hurts from hat to shoes What am I supposed to do Now I caught the runny nose blues Everybodys sick today When all I wanted to do was play Everybodys got the flu Now Ive got the runny nose blues Mommy`s got a runny nose Daddy hurts from head to toes My brother`s got a hundred and two And now Ive got the runny nose blues
Got to make some chicken soup And feed it to my mother Got to find the aspirin And give it to my brother Everybodys got the runny nose blues Everybody hurts from hat to shoes What am I supposed to do `Cause now Ive got the runny nose blues

Singing is an amazing way to dramatically improve our language learning strategy. Provides vocabulary enrichment, teaches tenses and plurals, uses poetic language, allows visualization, and encourages good pronunciation. The short, repetitive sentences lend themselves to memories and understand the meaning of the song. Pick songs that repeat words and sentences over and over again.Once your students start to memorize these, they will be more eager to participate and will be excited to learn the rest of the song, (Languagelizard, 2012)
