Collaboration in Enterprise

Balbriggans Creative Quarter (BCQ) is an initiative established to highlight and refresh the creative, technical and professional culture of the heart of Balbriggan. It is situated in an area stretching from Quay St. to Convent Lane and from Drogheda St. to the harbour. The area has a long-standing history of specialist design and innovation dating back to the 18th century.

Design creates culture. Culture shapes values. Values determine the future.

Robert L. Peters

Today, the Creative Quarter is a hub of design creativity and entrepreneurship. It is home to an eclectic mix of shops, cafs, restaurants, galleries, creative businesses and a cinema. Plans are being developed to further enhance the area with museum, performance and exhibition spaces. Balbriggan train station is located at the heart of the Creative Quarter and is connected to Drogheda St. by Railway St, which has a diverse mix of creative businesses and entrepreneurs. Plenty of inspiring and exciting places are nestled in the area, waiting to be explored. The BCQ concept will be supported by a website, Facebook page and a newsletter.

Together we can make Balbriggan Creative Quarter a prize winning location for business
