However, the elephant picks up the lion with its trunk and drops him to the ground, jumping on top of him. The surprised and hurt lion is left shouting at the elephant.

    One day a young lion walked throught the jungle. He was young and proud. The lion met a snake and said, Snake. Who is the king of the jungle? !ou are, the snake replied "ui#kly. $t didn%t want to make the lion angry. The lion smiled and walked on. Thirty metres later he met a monkey. The lion looked at the monkey and said, &onkey. Who is the king of the jungle? !ou are. The monkey replied. $t turned round "ui#kly and #lim'ed a tree. $t felt safe there. The lion looked up at the monkey and smiled. ( few minutes later he met a #ro#odile. He stopped and said, Cro#odile. Who is the king of the jungle? !ou are. (nswered the #ro#odile. $t went "ui#kly into the ri)er where it felt safe. The lion smiled and walked on. *e+t he met a giraffe. He looked up and shouted, ,iraffe. Who is the king of the jungle? The giraffe didn%t answer so the lion roared loudly. The giraffe was )ery afraid and said, !ou are. (nswer "ui#kly ne+t time, said the lion, or might ha)e to eat you. The lion walked on. He was )ery happy that all the others animals were afraid of him. ( few hundred metres later he met na elephant. -lephant. Who is the king of the jungle? The elephant looked at the lion.
