    TIMBRE FOUNDAMENTAL BUILDING BLOCKS they are separable and can change individually the quality that allows us to distinguish different sounds is called:

    - loudness - pitch - contour - duration or rhythm - tempo - timbre - spatial location - reverberation

    music is the idea to combine these elements to create art they combine and our brain perceives:

    PITCH

    is related to - "high" or "low" - infinite number and unique FREQUENCY

    - meter - key - melody - harmony

    - perception - limit of frequency - gives the name to the notes
