What are the most interesting parts of the course?

We cover the understanding of some of the science behind the issues being discussed in the newspapers and on TV. Understanding better how our bodies and the chemicals and appliances that we use work. Appreciating how the use of a few scientific models can be used to explain and predict an enormous range of events in the universe. Producing your topical project about a scientific issue and carrying out a scientific investigation. Why would separate award science be a useful course for me? It would make you a more scientifically literate person and the skills you acquire would be useful in a wide range of occupations. Appropriate grades achieved at the end of this course will qualify you to progress to AS and A level Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
