Requirement of Exhaust Fans in MTP Specialist Shop, CTW, B&GRP, SSFC

To exhaust the fumes generated in the working zone & to avoid stagnation of air in Storage
rooms, it is proposed to provide dia 600 mm Exhaust Fans for the Units
a. MTP Specialist - 9 Nos. (Drg No. MEC/09H8/01/S2/081 Rev. no. R E)
b. CTW
- 8 Nos. (Drg No. MEC/DPR/09H8/01/S2/052 Rev. no. R F)
c. B & GRP
- 5 Nos. (Drg No. MEC/DPR/09H8/01/S2/012 Rev. no. R 3)
d. SSFC
- 3 Nos. (Drg No. MEC/A0/09H8/01/S2/043 Rev. no. R 1)
These fans are mounted on walls approx. 200 mm below the Beam / Slab. The location of
exhaust fans, numbers required and the Power requirement is indicated in the respective
drawings.
Civil Section is requested to provide dia. 600 mm opening along with 45 x 45 x 5 angle
inserts for mounting the Exhaust fans.
Electrical Section is requested to provide power connections along with switching units to
Exhaust fans. Similar, requirement (of Exhaust fans, Man Coolers & Pedestal fans) in other
Units will be indicated shortly.
