Introduction: Play music in background to generate transition to writing as students prepare for in-class writing time Procedure: 1. Students will be given quiet time in-class to continue the research and drafting stages of their papers.

2. Individual conferences will occur randomly throughout the class period by teacher to assess feedback on student progress. Evaluation: Student progress will be measured during class-time; individual conferences with the teacher will be held.
