A little bit of background noise can block out distractions and help you concentrate. Try instrumental music as lyrics tend to be more distracting. Alternatively, there are many websites that play rain noises, cafe sounds or white noise. 7. Be equipped

Create an atmosphere

Make sure that you have all the books, resources and equipment needed to get the job done when you start - that way, you won't be constantly stopping and starting to go and fetch things. 8. Shut out the outside world

Avoid Distractions

The outside world is a dangerous place, full of noises and distractions. Shut the door to build yourself a private study cocoon. If anyone needs you, they can knock. 9. Some like it hot

Get the temp right

Try to get the temperature right in your study space. If its too hot or cold, you may not be at your most productive. 10. Stop trying to build the perfect study space Getting the revision done is more important than creating the perfect space.
