Ariel McKenzie Case 4-1 & 4-2 Indoor desktop omnidirectional antenna IR: 2.

4 GhZ EIRP: 8dBW 8 dBi 5.85 dBd

Uni directional antenna IR: 4.2 GhZ EIRP: 20 dBW 14.2 dBi 12.05 dBd The unidirectional antenna has a much higher gain across the spectrum. But it has a limited direction because it is unidirectional. The gain of the omnidirectional antenna is smaller but it can go in all directions. This makes it much better for a home or office WLAN network.

Case 4-2 The azimuth of the omnidirectional antenna is widely spread while its elevation is narrowed to a point with little bits seeping from both sides. For the semidirectional antenna, it has a much narrower elevation and azimuth. The azimuth of the yagi antenna is similar to the semidirectional but the area behind the antenna is more clustered. It almost looks like an octopus.
