will on music and at the same time a box will be pass around the class. When the music stop, the lucky student have to pick one paragraph to work on. Underline word that have silent letter. Practice reading it aloud a few times. Then, write the word at the whiteboard and cross the silent letter. Then, write new sentence using words with silent letters.

EXAMPLE:
The woman wrote out the knitting pattern for her daughter. It was a lovely design for a lacy wrap.

Draw me!

Procedure

Make groups of 4-5 student. Each group comes alternately to the board and gets a word card which they have to draw. The first student of this first team comes to the board. The student has to draw a picture of the word the teacher gave him/her. If the team finds the word within 2 minute, they get a point and the second student comes on the board. If they dont guess the word the second group continues.
