He wrote the scripts for the Broadway musicals Elton John & Tim Rice's Ardo (coauthor), Rodgers & Hammerslein's Flower Drum song (2002 revival, 2003 Tony nomination), and Dishey's Tarzan. His opera libretti include three works for composer Philip Glass, L000 Airplanes on the Roof , The Voyage (Metropolitan opera), andThe Sound of o voice; as well as Bright sheng's The sitver River, osvaldo Golijov's Ainadomar (two 2007 Grammy Awards) and Unsuk chin's A/rce tn wonderland (opernwelt's 2007 "world Premiere of the Year"). Hwang penned the feature films M. Butterfly, Golden Gote, and Possession (co-writer), and also co-wrote the song "Solo" with Prince. A native of Los Angeles, Hwang serves on the Council of the Dramatists Guild. He attended stanford University and Yale Drama School, and was appointed by President clinton to the President's committee on the Arts and the Humanities.

music major, Nancy always had a keen interest in costumes and clothing and took costume courses in the Theatre Department. She met her husband, Wes, a theatre major, while at USU and the two began a joint career in film and theatre.
Sadly, Torzan was Nancy's last design. Mother of two daughters, Nancy passed away during the run of Tarzon after a courageous and hard fought battle against cancer. USU's production is particularly special because we have brought her final design home to where she began her career as an artist. Her design has served as the foundation of my design and many of the original

His hit songs include "ln the Air Tonight," "One More Night," "Sussudio," "Take Me Home," "Another Day ln Paradise," and two other Oscar-nominated songs: "Against All Odds" and "Two Hearts'" His successful Final FarewellTour played to more than one million people in 25 countries. Collins was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
as a member of Genesis in 2010.
