This Weeks Highlights

Reading: We are off to a wonderful start for this Story of the Week: The Woodcutters Gift last 9 week period of 2nd grade! This year has Skill of the Week: Plot: Problem & Solution flown by and while I am so sad to know it will soon Strategy of the Week: Make Predictions end, I am beyond thrilled at the progress made by Language Arts: each and every student! It is amazing to think Writing Trait: Word Choice about how much they have learned this year. Grammar: Contractions We are looking forward to our upcoming Math: Earth Day field trip to Town Creek Park on Assess Chapter 10: Data Wednesday, April 9. The students will enjoy 4 Begin Chapter 11: Geometry stations including: Clean Water, Plant Life Cycle, Social Science: Art Project, and Recycling. Champion behavior is Famous Americans always expected, and we greatly appreciate the support and reminders from you in this matter.
