DEFINITION:-job satisfaction is a kind of attitude that an individual employees hold about his or her job. It is infect, a kind of positive perception about the job. Thus it is a kind of emotional state, which could be positive or negative. Vroom(1968) defined it as the positive orientation of an individual towards the work role. Job satisfaction could pertain to different facets of the job such as pay, relationship with supervisor, and autonomy.

Job satisfaction is considered to be the key of harness human energy and aspiration inside the organization. A lot of research has been done to find newer ways of explaining the role of job satisfaction at work place. Let us examine the role of each of these factors one by one. Employees express their discontent in various way such as avoiding work, complaining about the work processes, stealing property, destroying property of the company, going for strike and other democratic and un democratic moments. Exit:Unhappy employees choose to exit the

organistaion.the exit decision of employees is one of the most widely followed mechanisms where disgrintled employees opt to exit from the existing organistaion.such employees do not believe that they could do anything that could improve the present situation and it is believed that leaving the organisation is the best solution available to the employee concerned.

Voice:unhappy employees raise concern and highlight various shortcomings which are most often considered as complaints.Unless the organistaion develops adequate space for them concern may be considered outrageous.this would most often be reataliated by punishing the employee. Neglect: An unhappy employee often neglects the jobs allocated to him or her.In the service environment where monitoring every human interaction is not possible neglect shown by employees often remains untraced but it has a negative impact on the external and internal factors.

Loyalty:Loyal employees even if they are unhappy over situations remain in the organistaion.They might be suffering pain in silence waiting eagerly for good days ahead or waiting for improvement of relationships.
