Repsol YPF is one of the ten largest oil companies in the world, carrying out activities in
exploration and production; refining, distribution and marketing; chemicals; and natural gas and electricity. Within Repsol YPF, the Chemicals division is dedicated to the production and sales of petrochemical products, ranging from base petrochemicals to derivatives. One of its Business Units is Intermediate Products with a production volume of 1,200,000 tonnes per year, made up of Styrene, Propylene Oxide, and their derivatives, such as Polyols and Glycols, ACN, MMA, PMMA, ABS/SAN and EPS and Synthetic Rubbers. Repsol YPF manufactures a wide range of polyether polyols for flexible slabstock and moulding, polyols for rigid foams and CASE for coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers. The Repsol YPF Technology Centre, recently inaugurated near Madrid, brings together all of the installations devoted to R&D activities, along with the Chemicals Technical Service and Development Laboratory. The new premises are a modern, attractive and functional complex which enable the Company to address its technological challenges. The construction of this Centre represented an investment of 174 million euros. Approximately 60% of the activities of the Technology Centre are devoted to the Chemicals division.

Therefore, the sites where these polyether polyols are manufactured, Puertollano and Tarragona; the Technical Service and Development Centre in Madrid; and any other unit related to these products, comply with the stipulated in these Standards.
