Since air &ollutants ha%e been correlated $ith the disa&&earing ozone# the +,A has regulated air &ollutants. -n '(.*# the +,A &assed the Clean Air Act. /he +,A has also created the 0AA1S or 0ational Ambient Air 1uality standards for a measurement of the airs safety. 2ith the globe $arming# the earths has oceans has had more of it e%a&orated. +l 0ino and 3a 0ina are storms that change the hydrologic cycle and economy of the entire $orld. +l 0ino is $hen there is mass rain and flooding in $estern South America# $hile -ndonesia# there is drought. 3a 0ina is the re%erse of +l 0ino. /his can 4ill a ma5or amount of &lants that are not able to ada&t to the sudden change in climate# and $ater.
The major types of fuel are oil, natural gas, and coal. A pro to using oil is that it provides energy to wide amount of people. A con to using oil is that is extraction and usage releases excess CO2 into the air and it most likely will run out. A pro to using natural gas is that it provides natural energy from methane. A con is that during the extraction of natural gas the process of fracking!, the gases can infiltrate the water ta"le and cause harm to all who rely on that water ta"le. A "enefit to using coal is that it provides heat and electricity. A downside to coal is that it releases soot into the air degrading the air #uality.

Greenhouse gasses are defined as any gases that contribute to absorbing infrared radiation. Such gases include Carbon Dioxide and CFCs (Chloro Floro Carbon!.
