Riccards Third Grade Busy Bees

Welcome to the third week of May! As we enter a new week we will be continuing to learn, practice, and strive in and outside of the classroom. This week brings new events to our daily vigorous schedule. Saint Elizabeths will be hosting their annual science fair. This allows the students to show off their scientific and creative sides. Our teachers came together and decided to organize a Family Fun Night activity to bring the teachers, parents, and students together. Also connecting to Marine Life in our science textbook, our two Third Grade classes will be taking a field trip to Jenkinsons Aquarium to see marine life up close. The whole day the students will be engaged and learn more about the marine life outside of the classroom. Along with the many events happening this week also brings the eighth Spelling Bee that runs every month with a new list of vocabulary words!

May 12thFamily Game Night: Come back to school at 6pm to enjoy refreshments and games as a relaxing way to start the new week! May 13thThird Grades first round of the Spelling Bee- All parents are welcome, doors open at 5pm. May 14thSaint Elizabeths Science Fair- all students participating in the annual science fair will present their projects to the Liberty Science experts to qualify for going to the countys Science Fair in June. May 15thEarly Dismissal at Noon- Teacher workshops 1-3pm. Fun Movie Period- The students will be watching Dolphin Tale during science period to tie in the marine life they have been learning.
