Tundra: Location: The tundra is located at the top of the world, near the North Pole. This enormous biome, extremely uniform in appearance, covers a fifth of the earth's surface. Taiga Forest: location: The taiga is found throughout the high northern latitudes. EX: North America, Russia, Sweden. Living Organisms: Black Bear, Balsam Fir. Climate : short summer average temperature is10 C

Deciduous forest: Location: Southwest Russia, Japan, and Eastern China Living Organisms: American Bald Eagle, American Beech Climate : The average annual temperature in a deciduous forest is 50 F. The average rainfall is 30 to 60 inches a year

Tropical rain forest: Location: Three largest rainforests- the American, the African, and the Asian Living Organisms: Bengal Bamboo, Bougainvillea, African Forest Elephant Climate: Rainfall about 250 cm per year
