Description: During the course of the Spring Semester my supervisor, the Vice President for Student Services, invited me to participate in the Colleges Study Abroad Committee and I shared some of the insights and best practices that I have learned from the Study Abroad course with the committee. We meet monthly to discuss how to develop the Colleges Study Abroad program. We are currently in the process of developing risk management procedures for students while they are abroad.

(1 point) Volunteered at conference Conference: The Student Affairs Conference at NYU, Re Defining Global: Creating a boundless experience Description: This conference provided an interesting perspective for me on globalization and the importance of a global society. Sessions that I attended covered a range of topics some of which include: the role of Student Affairs in leading campus internationalization, perceptions in the role of parents in educating college students, and service immersion programs.
