Mission Statement
To increase safety and empower survivors of domestic violence and displaced homemakers in our community. We believe that everyone has the right to be free from abuse. We believe that domestic violence is a community problem which requires a community solution.

W.A.V.E
Women Against Violent Environments Domestic violence support and education group 8 week program Held on Wednesdays at 10 am- 11 am or 5 pm- 6 pm Provides domestic violence education and a safe place to discuss experiences Topics in the program include:
Power and control Effects of domestic violence on children The roles substance abuse plays in domestic violence Safety planning Other related issues associated with domestic violence

CHOICES
Batterers intervention and treatment program Certified by the North Carolina Council on Women and the North Carolina Department of Administration Held Thursday 7 pm- 9 pm or Saturday 10 am- 12 noon

Task Force
The purpose is to improve the systems that address domestic violence. Task Forces meets quarterly Task Forces members include:
