Dear Parents, In our class for the next four weeks we will be teaching the children about recycling and why it is important to actually recycle and reuse the objects that can be reused. Some of the other material we will be covering in class will be: Discussing the difference between the materials (paper, plastic, metal, glass and aluminum.) How we could reuse the objects being recycled Show the difference between, what trash is and what trash isnt and what could be recycled. Allow the children to be able to identify the recycle symbol. Have activities using recycled material to create something new. We are asking if you as parents could also mention this at home so the children could get familiar with the symbol and concept.

Important Announcement If at home there are some things that are being recycled and are properly sanitized and appropriate for school, we are asking if you could please bring them in for the children to be able to reuse on their projects that they will be doing in class.
