Monthly Duties: Work with your Secretary to ensure monthly club report is submitted by the 5th to pnwclubreports@gmail.com Work with your Secretary to complete Annual Achievement Report (due with DCON registration) Work with your Editor to ensure club newsletter is sent by the end of the month Attend Kiwanis Club Meeting and Kiwanis Divisional Council Meeting (DCM) Attend your Lieutenant Governors DCM and participate in any divisional events Specific Duties By Month: April
Begin overseeing Key Club meetings Make initial contact with your Lieutenant Governor to begin divisional communications Work with secretary to submit new contact information to your Lieutenant Governor by June Join the Presidents/VPs Facebook Group: https:// www.facebook.com/groups/ keyclub.presidents.and.vps

May
Attend Key Leader (register early at key-leader.org) Finalize member hours of the year Create membership awards Plan your final meetings/award ceremony Order senior chords or sashes for graduating members (optional)

June
Finish paying dues by June 1st Hold your final meeting of the year Have summer projects set up present opportunities to members before summer break begins Plan an event related to Childrens Miracle Network (optional) Attend a summer rally (optional)

July
Contact Lieutenant Governor and Presidents/VPs in division to plan divisional projects for next year Work with division to decide on a divisional project to use to apply for the Youth Opportunities Fund (YOF) Apply for YOF (www.kiwanis.org) by October 15th Work with Secretary to create club e-mail Work with Editor/Webmaster to create club website Attend a summer rally (optional)

August
Prepare a calendar for the upcoming year Create Key Club advertisements for school Train club officers Attend your schools Freshmen Orientation and recruit members Plan your first meeting Attend a Kiwanis meeting Attend a summer rally(optional)

September
Recruit new members Set up a Key Club dues account with your schools budget secretary Hold your first Key Club meeting of the year Attend your Lieutenant Governors Divisional Council Meeting and participate in any divisional events

October
Attend Key Leader (register early at key-leader.org) Push dues payment for early bird dues November 1st Work with your treasurer to pay dues (send in by October 15th to ensure early bird payment) Continue advertising Key Club and work toward membership growth Promote and participate in Trick -or-Treat for UNICEF (boxes are free at unicefusa.org)

November
Early bird dues are due November 1st for 15+ members Promote and participate in Key Club week Contact local organizations to prepare for holiday service events (i.e. Salvation Army, local soup kitchen, local homeless shelter, etc) Begin cultivating promising members to run for officer positions or Lieutenant Governor

December
Final dues are due December 1st Promote and participate in holiday service events Create your officer application packet and make it available to interested members have it be due in January Talk to your Lieutenant Governor about members who are interested in running for District/ International positions Promote DCON in your club and create a group of attendees

January
Register for DCON Apply for awards at DCON Attend the Lieutenant Governors election rally Hold your club officer election rally Begin training newly elected officers (apprentice with outgoing officers) Work with your Lieutenant Governor to plan how youre showing spirit at DCON

February
Submit DCON awards applications by the set deadline Continue training incoming officers Prepare attendees for DCON Begin forming teams for March of Dimes(marchofdimes.com)

March
Submit the rest of your membership dues Final preparations for DCON Begin letting your new officers run club meetings Attend your Kiwanis meeting thank them for their support and introduce incoming officers Attend DCON Congratulate yourself on an amazing term!
