Endorsement Subject Class Unit Lesson Resources Standard Introduction Technology Uses/Materials Needed Objectives Elementary Education-3rd grade Mathematics Basic Math Multiplying and Dividing Practice Computer Students will demonstrate an understanding of the basic mathematical principles such as multiplying and dividing. Students will practice multiplying and dividing by answering quiz questions using Socrative independently. The program Socrative will be used in order to quiz students about their understanding of adding and subtracting. A computer for each student or each group will be needed. Objective 1). Be able to readily answer questions regarding multiplication and division Objective 2). Be comfortable will all of the multiplication and division tables A previous lesson taught on adding and subtracting will need to have been performed in order to begin this lesson plan. This lesson plan will utilize the branch of Blooms Taxonomy called Understanding because the teacher will be checking the students understanding of multiplication and division problems. The teacher will create an account on Socrative and make true/false and multiple choice quizzes regarding multiplication and division. Have the students log on to their computers and enter the room number provided by the teacher to access the quizzes on Socrative. Have them take the quizzes individually in an allotted amount of time. Based on the results of the Socrative quizzes, the teacher will be able to assess how comfortable the students feel with multiplying and dividing. If a majority of students are struggling in one specific area, the teacher will be able to adjust future lesson plans in order to
