TROOP PROCEDURES

In Simple Terms:
START OF MEETING Fall-in -> Flag -> Prayer -> Patrol Calls END OF MEETING Fall-in -> Prayer -> Flag -> Scout Promise

PROCEDURE START OF MEETING -Shout " Troooooop Fall-in". -Wait for patrols to form. They should be at alert at this point, if not please order "At Alert" -Shout and look at an APL and say "Duty Assistant Patrol Leader take the flag" -Shout "Troop face the flag" -Duty APL will put up the flag -After tieing the rope, APl will take two steps back and at that point whole Troop salutes the flag. -Say "Troop Caps Off" -Look at the other APL and say "Duty Assistant Patrol Leader say the prayer". -After he is finished, say "Troop at Ease". -At this point PLs take over to do their Patrol Shout. Basically the PL orders his patrol ONLY at alert. They do the call together and they he orders them at was aswell. -Leader continues with the meeting. PROCEDURE END OF MEETING. -Shout " Troooooop Fall-in". -Wait for patrols to form. They should be at alert at this point, if not please order "At Alert" -Say "Troop Caps Off" -Look at the the prayer APL and say "Duty Assistant Patrol Leader say the prayer". -Prayer is said -Shout and look at the flag APL and say "Duty Assistant Patrol Leader take the flag" -Shout "Troop face the flag" -Duty APL will put down the flag on his shoulder and everyone salutes him. -Shout "Troop Scout Sign" -Scout promise is said together. -Shout "MEETING DISMISSED". -Scouts should then turn on their right and salute.
