The tutor who helps you is a volunteer. S/he donates his or her time to study with you. Please follow these rules: If you cannot come to your session, please call your tutor to cancel. o Call your tutor at least two hours before your session if you cannot come. o Important! If you do not come to class and you do not call, we may give your tutor to another student. Please come to class every week. o Please meet with your tutor for two hours every week for six months. o Your tutor has to tell us if you miss 3 sessions or more in two months. If you continue to miss sessions, your tutor will have to call us to decide if you can continue to study with a tutor. o Please tell us if you have to stop meeting your tutor. o Please tell us if your tutor misses 3 classes in two months. Please come to class on time. You will practice conversation with your tutor. Please do not talk about marital status, immigration, religion or politics. Tell us if your tutor talks about something that makes you uncomfortable.

Please sign the contract to show that you understand the rules and agree to follow them. Please call Fanny or Roberto if you want to talk to someone about your tutoring (244-3911). We are always happy to talk to students!

El tutor que le ayuda es un voluntario. l o ella dona su tiempo para estudiar con Ud. Por respeto para l/ella, por favor, siga estas reglas: Si usted no puede asistir a su cita, favor de llamar para cancelar. o Por favor, llame a su tutor por lo menos dos horas antes de la cita si no puede asistir. o Ojo! Si Ud. falta a varias citas sin cancelar, tendremos que dar a su tutor a otro estudiante. Es importante asistir a su cita cada semana. o Reunirse con su tutor por dos horas cada semana durante seis meses. o Literacy Network le pide a su tutor que nos avise si Ud. cancela o falta a 3 sesiones en dos meses. Si las faltas continan, tendremos que decidir si usted puede seguir estudiando con su tutor. o Favor de decirnos si no puede continuar estudiando con su tutor. o Favor de decirnos si su tutor falta 3 clases en dos meses. Favor de llegar a tiempo a su cita. Usted practicar conversacin con su tutor. Favor de no hablar de su estado civil, inmigracin, poltica o religin. Por favor, dganos si el tutor habla de algo que le incomode.

Favor de firmar el contrato para demostrar que usted ha entendido estas reglas y que va a cumplir con ellas. Por favor, llmele a Fanny o a Roberto si quiere hablar con alguien acerca de su tutora. !Siempre nos agrada hablar con estudiantes (244-3911)!
