I have a desire for furthering my
professional development with
strategies to strengthen the
learning needs from diverse
cultural, religious and
socioeconomic backgrounds.



I would expand my own
knowledge and understanding
within this area. To development
different strategies to help
strengthen the learning needs of
students with different types of
disabilities.


As Australia is becoming such a
diverse culture I believe it is
important to maintain current
understanding of various cultures
to ensure that I am able to
support all my students through
all their learning developmental
needs.

There is a wide range of
disabilities diagnosed every day.
So being constantly up to date
will allow me to be more able to
know further information on each
individual learning need and
teaching strategies, which will
assist me in helping these
students to reach their full
potential.


Continuing up-to-date research
into various cultures, religions
and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Also seeking support through
government and nongovernment
organisations, colleagues and the
outer community.


Continuing to update my
knowledge through various
professional development courses
on students with disabilities and
learning disorders. Also seeking
support through government and
nongovernment organisations,
colleagues and the outer
community. I will also seek
assistance from learning support
agencies and through my own
personal research. I would also
wish to attend courses that will
increase my own personal
knowledge for example
completing a Cert. of AUSLAN

Implement teaching strategies
using ICT which will assist in
expanding learning opportunities
for my students.

Developing was that effectively
monitor students progress in
literacy and numeracy in all
learning areas in an ongoing
challenge. It is essential part of
teaching to provide my students
with a supportive learning
environment which caters to all
diverse learning styles and needs.

As we live in an ever changing
technological society. I must also
increase my own personal
knowledge and ICT skills so I am
able to ensure that I provide my
students with the best learning

As a teacher I will expand on my
teaching techniques and
strategies practically in literacy,
numeracy and ICT by
participating in professional
learning opportunities. I will also
become a member by joining
various teaching associations to
assist in my development.

I plan to attend all professional
development opportunities
available to assist myself so I am
more capable to introduce, these
ideas into my students learning. I

I would expand my own
knowledge and understanding
within all these areas. To
development different strategies
to help strengthen the learning of
my students, so I will become a
more able in reaching my goal to
become an effective teacher.



As there are always new and more
effective learning strategies,
planning etc, that is becoming
available to us as teacher.
We as teachers also need to
understand that effective
communication between the
students parents/caregivers will
so add in the students learning
process, as this allows the
parents/caregivers to be part of
the childs educative process.

I will continually participate in any
professional learning
opportunities to assist me in
teaching. I will also make a
conscious effort to include
parents/caregivers in the active
process of the childs learning
development. I will always make
sure that all parents/caregivers
and comfortable with
communicating with me.

teaching, so you are able to give
the students in your care a high

As a teacher you must consider
that you are an influence to the
students you are teaching and
therefore will always be in the
community focus.

never be ashamed of. And would
also take on extra leadership
opportunities to be more involved
