Stephania Torres is a participant in the Merced County Office of Education, California
Student Opportunity and Access Program (Cal-SOAP), which is an outreach project for the
California Student Aid Commission.
As a participant in the Cal-SOAP Program Stephania has had the opportunity to participate
in several workshops; these include college readiness, career exploration and team building
activities. I have had the pleasure of working with Stephania where she has successfully
demonstrated that she can communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
Stephania is a responsible young person who has demonstrated her soft skills such as being
on time, reliable, hard-working and dedicated. She has also demonstrated the ability to
