Overview:
Account Alias Entry
An account alias is an easily recognized name or label representing a general ledger account number.
You can transact, vie, report, and reserve against an account alias. During a transaction, an account
alias can be used instead of an account number. !y setting up various aliases in advance, you can save a
lot of time and confusion during various types of inventory transactions. "nventory transactions such as
issue for destructive testing, issue for engineering design, and receipts from engineering lab can use
aliases very effectively. Account aliases are defined at the organizational level.
