On May 10, 2014, at about 6:30 PM, the Cloquet Police Department received a call of a
missing 84-year-old Alzheimer's patient who went missing from the 800 block of Larch
Street in Cloquet. The man had been missing since about 5:00 PM.

After an extensive search, at about Approximately 9:00 PM, the man was located safe and
in relatively good health near Morning Star Lane in the city of Cloquet, approximately
three miles from his residence. Cloquet Area Fire District paramedics assessed the person
and transported him to the Community Memorial Hospital for an evaluation.

The Cloquet Police Department was assisted in the search by the Cloquet Area Fire
District, Fond Du Lac Police Department and a K-9 unit from the Department of Natural
Resources.
