FSU Department of Music to Present Clarinet Studio and Ensemble Recital
The Frostburg State University Department of Music will present the Clarinet Studio and
Ensemble recital on Monday, May 5, at 7:30 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of FSUs Performing
Arts Center. The recital is free and open to the public.
The recital will begin with Trio in E flat Major by French composer Jacques-Jules
Bouffil. The concert will also feature works by several American composers including Raga
Songs by John Mayer, Rhapsody by Willson Osborne and Serenade No. 13 by Vincent
Persichetti. The ensemble will also perform Concerto No. 1 in E flat Major by Finnish
composer Bernhard Crussell and Divertimento No. 2 in B flat Major by Austrian composer
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The recital will close with Sonata in F major by German composer
Georg Phillipp Telemann.
The Clarinet Studio and Ensemble is under the direction of Artistic Director Dr. Mark
