FSU Center for Creative Writing to Present Second Annual Rock N Read Fundraiser
Frostburg State Universitys Center for Creative Writing will present its second annual
Rock N Read fundraiser on Sunday, May 4, at 2 p.m. at Frostburgs City Place, 14 S. Water St.,
Frostburg.
The fundraiser will take place primarily outside and will feature poetry readings, live
music, art vendors, a used book sale, writing and music activities for kids and surprise guests.
Gerry LaFemina and poet Jason Tinney will host readings throughout the day followed by an
open mic event and a poetry slam. The music lineup includes: Jon Felton and His SoulMobile,
Symbiosis, Wayne Lockwood, The Downstrokes and Dogiaw.
Tickets are available in advance for $5 at the Allegany Arts Council, Main Street Books
and the Center for Creative Writing.
