Hi! My name is Aurelio Garces and I Interviewed my maternal grandfather. I chose him because
Im a lot with him and I wanted to know more about him because I have low information about
him .The purpose of the interview is to learn about my ancestors and about my identity.

Q1: Where and when were you born?
A1: 29 January 1939 Cajamarca

Q2: What is your exact full name?
A2: Carlos Manuel Guillermo Cacho-Sousa Olivares

Q3: When you were my age what did you want to be when you grew up? Why?
A3: Aviador because his grandfather was general of the aviacion Chilena.

Q4: In which places or countries have you lived in ?
A4: Cajamarca, Lima and Canada

Q5: What is your favorite hobbie?
A5: Being with his grandsons.

Q6: At what age did you married ?
A6: He married at the age of 23 years.

Q7: Did you have enough money to live a good life? What did you do to get money?
A7: Yes, and he didnt do anything to get money.

Q8: At what did your parents work for money?
A8: His father worked at a ranch and his mother didnt work.
Q9: At what age did you start school?
A9: At the age of 5

Q10: Did all of your brothers and sisters went to school? Did all of you went to the same school?
A10: Yes all of them went to school but not to the same one.

Q11: From where did your ancestors come from?
A11: They came from Chile, Spain and Germany.

I found out that I have a similarity with maternal grandfather that is that I love being with my
family. I also found out that my ancestors came from Chile, Spain and Germany. What I learned
was that before most of the woman in my family didnt work. What I learned about my identity is
that my ancestors came from countries I never thought they would come from. What I am
surprised about is that before most of the man worked at ranches or at farming. I am also
surprised that before in the brothers and sisters went to different schools. What I learned about
my identity is that most of my family comes from Spain and very little from Chile and Germany.
