Anger

Hello there and welcome to Six Minutes. You know, I am surrounded here by books. I
love books. One of the greatest authors that I have ever read is a man named Vernon
Howard. He wrote a little book called The Mystic Path to Cosmic Power. I think that
was the first one I read and I just could not stop reading it. It is a great book on
introspectionmakes you look at yourself.

Well, he has written a little book right here on anger. Let me share something with you.
He said, There is a way out of destructive anger and into a bright, new world but first
you have got to recognize it. He said, What does anger do? Well, look at it. Anger
hurts your health, it makes you miserable, it blocks solutions, it wastes your energy, it
keeps you helpless, it invites attacks, it imprisons your spirit, it wrecks human relations, it
gives you headaches, causes accidents, ruins restful sleep, turns a love life into a lonely
life. He said, Add as many more qualities or casualties as you can think of until
completely convinced that anger is a punishing storm which must not be called a
rewarding thrill.

Do you know, anger is when you let someone or something outside control you. Let it
go. Anger is dumb. It ruins everything that it touches. If you have a tendency to get
angrymake up your mind you are going to change it.

I want you to spend the next few minutes thinking about it. There are probably one or
two things that really do make you angry. Make up your mind you are not going to let
them bother you anymore. Its like the guy said one timedont sweat the small stuff.
Let it go. Forget it. This is Bob Proctor. Thank you.
