Introduction (3 minutes)
Explain objectives and how to use the parts of the plant foldable (write notes you hear from the video and then after the video we will go through it together to make sure we got all of the information) Body (11 minutes) Play video (3 minutes) Ask students what they wrote down for their key words for each section as we go through the slide show Go through the slide show reading out the function of each part Roots absorb water and nutrients, and hold the plant in place Stem keeps the plant upright, and sucks up the water and nutrients from the roots, which it then takes to the rest of the plant. Without the stem, the rest of the plant wouldnt get the water and nutrients they need.
