FREDERICK SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA HIGHLIGHTS POP FAVORITES
Final Concert Of The Season Caters To All Ages

FREDERICK, MDAs the Frederick Symphony Orchestra prepares to wind down their 2014-
2015 concert season, their final performance will not be winding down with them. The highly
anticipated pops concert, Swashbucklers and Buccaneers, will cater to adults and children of
all ages and show them the magic in the music. The concert will take place on Saturday, June
13, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. at the J.B. Kussumaul Theater at Frederick Community College. Music
selections for the evening include pieces from Robin Hood, Pirates of the Caribbean, Go West,
Dances with Wolves, and Hoedown.
Andrew Rosenfield will be returning as the guest conductor for the second time this
season, after playing the same role during the Holiday Pops concerts in December. Rosenfield
currently serves as the chair of the Fine Arts department at Mount St. Marys University. He is
also an Associate Professor of Music at the university, as well as Director of the Mount St.
Marys Chorale and Seminary Choir. He holds a B.A. from Hamilton College, a M. Mu. From
University of Illinois, and a D.M.A. from University of Cincinnati.
